I support preserving the Powder Point Bridge as a timber bridge should funding and/or grants be available or secured.
I respectfully request that the Selectboard fully explore and evaluate a rehabilitation option for the Powder Point Bridge.
The Selectboard owes it to the residents to present the environmental, financial, business, long-term access, and future maintenance impacts and obligations associated with both the rehabilitation and replacement.
Why we’re asking
This petition asks the Selectboard to fully explore rehabilitation as an alternative to replacement and provide residents with a clear comparison of the impacts and obligations associated with both options. Signing supports evaluating preservation of Powder Point Bridge as a timber bridge should funding and/or grants be available or secured.
